Welcome to Cardz Mate. By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. General

Cardz Mate is an Australian trading card and collectibles retailer specialising in Pokémon TCG, graded cards, sealed products, and anime collectibles.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published on our website.

2. Products & Authenticity

  • All products sold by Cardz Mate are 100% genuine and authentic.

  • Product images are for reference only. Actual items may vary slightly in colour or packaging due to manufacturing differences.

  • For graded cards, the condition and grade are determined by the third-party grading company (e.g. PSA, CGC, BGS). We do not alter or influence grading outcomes.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

  • Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received.

4. Final Sale Policy (Important)

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect purchases

  • Opened or sealed trading card products

  • Graded cards

  • Clearance or sale items

This policy is in place due to the nature of collectible and trading card products.

5. Refunds, Replacements & Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or remedy only if:

  • You receive the wrong item, or

  • Your item arrives damaged during transit

To be eligible:

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label must be provided

  • Items must be returned in original condition (where applicable)

We do not offer refunds or replacements for manufacturing imperfections common in sealed TCG products (e.g. print lines, centering, factory seal variations).

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are packed securely to ensure safe delivery.

  • Once an order has been shipped, Cardz Mate is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or courier providers.

  • Risk passes to the customer once the order has been successfully delivered to the provided address.

7. Pre-Orders

  • Pre-order release dates are estimates only and may change due to supplier or distributor delays.

  • By placing a pre-order, you agree to wait until stock arrives before shipment.

  • Pre-orders are final sale and cannot be cancelled.

8. Local Pick-Up (If Applicable)

  • Local pick-up orders must be collected during listed trading hours.

  • Uncollected orders may be cancelled after a reasonable holding period.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, including images, logos, text, and branding, is the property of Cardz Mate and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardz Mate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
